1.Reaction vessel: Type: Coated stainless steel reactor (commonly made of 316L stainless steel, corrosion-resistant). Function: Core equipment, used for the polymerization reaction of acrylic monomers. Features: Equipped with a mixer (anchor type, paddle type or helical type to ensure thorough mixing), temperature control system (jacket with hot/cold water or heat transfer oil), pressure gauge, vacuum system interface, condensation reflux device (for solvent-based), feeding port, sampling port, discharge valve. 2.Mixing tank / premix tank: Function: It is used to pre-dissolve or mix certain raw materials, such as initiators, chain transfer agents, emulsifiers (water-based), tackifying resins, etc., in order to add them to the reaction vessel more precisely and safely. 3.Measurement/Loading System: Function: Precisely measure and control the addition speed and quantity of monomers, solvents (solvent-based), initiator solutions, and other additives. Equipment: Precision metering pumps (such as gear pumps, diaphragm pumps), mass flowmeters, weighing modules, drip tanks. Automation control is of vital importance. 4.Temperature Control System: Function: Precisely control the temperature of the jacket of the reaction vessel to ensure that the polymerization reaction proceeds under the set temperature curve. Equipment: Heat transfer oil heater, cooling water circulation unit (water chiller), matching circulation pump, control valve and temperature sensor. 5.Condenser: Type: Tubular condenser or coil-type condenser. Function (Solvent-based): Condense and evaporate the solvent monomers, and reflux them back into the reaction vessel to reduce losses and control the reaction rate and molecular weight. Function (Water-based): Usually used for condensing the residual monomer vapor during the later vacuuming process to remove the remaining monomers. 6.Filter system: Function: Remove mechanical impurities, gel particles or undissolved tackifying resins from the glue liquid, ensuring the purity and coating performance of the product. Equipment: Filters of different precision levels (bag filters, filter cartridges, plate and frame filters, etc.), and conveying pumps. 7.Cooling system: Function: After the reaction is completed or before filtration, the hot glue is cooled to a safe temperature (usually below 50°C) for storage, filtration or packaging. Equipment: Cooling water circulation system or dedicated cooler (such as plate heat exchanger). 8.Filling/Packaging Equipment: Function: Fill the finished glue into barrels (iron barrels, plastic barrels) or IBC tanker drums. Equipment: Filling machine, weighing equipment, capping machine. 9.Utilities: Water chillers, air compressors (pneumatic valves, mixing seals), nitrogen supply system (inert gas protection to prevent oxygen aggregation).
